Amine Zorgani

CEO and Founder - SwipeBiome

Dr. Amine Zorgani, CEO and founder of SwipeBiome, is a microbiome expert. After advanced scientific training in biology and biomedical engineering, he focused his research on the interface between humans and microbes, with a particular emphasis on the skin as an electroactive organ. Convinced that the microbiome plays a key role in health and well-being, he founded SwipeBiome to translate these discoveries into innovative solutions. His approach, called "BiomePulse," is ushering in a new era of personalized medicine.

Presentation

The skin is much more than a physical barrier: it is a bioelectrical organ whose properties are deeply modulated by its microbiome. This presentation explores the “electrical dimension” of the skin microbiome, a still largely uncharted field that reveals how resident microorganisms influence membrane potentials, epidermal conductance, and ionic flows within the skin. We will show how these bioelectrical signals can be measured, mapped, and leveraged to design a new class of cosmetics: e-skin cosmetics. These smart formulations interact with the microbiome to optimize the skin’s electrical homeostasis, opening up unprecedented opportunities in hydration, skin aging, and preventive dermatology.

An interdisciplinary talk at the crossroads of microbiology, bioelectronics, and cosmetology, aimed at rethinking the skin of the future.

SwipeBiome is a pioneering French company at the intersection of technology and life sciences. Its mission: to decode the human microbiome and leverage it for personalized health.

Using artificial intelligence and proprietary algorithms, SwipeBiome analyzes microbial communities and transforms this complex data into actionable recommendations. Its solutions, such as BioGenAI and BiomePulse, enable real-time monitoring of the microbiome and tailored biotic prescriptions for each individual.

As an active member of the European EMIH coalition, SwipeBiome is establishing itself as a key player in biomedical innovation, shaping the future of healthcare.
